Base markets are now unpaused
Following the successful unpause of Ethereum markets this week, Base markets have also been restored and are now fully operational.
As mentioned in previous updates, the delay was due to an additional transaction that needed to take place after Timelock activation, involving the transfer of the emergency admin role to a new multisig. This multisig is now operational and is intended solely for emergency purposes, with authority limited to pausing and unpausing the markets if necessary.
Important Note on RIZ Markets (ARB & BNB):
This weekend, RIZ markets on Arbitrum (ARB) and Binance Smart Chain (BNB) will be temporarily paused. This measure aims to prevent potential liquidations that users might experience due to evolving market conditions.
As outlined in recent updates, both RIZ and dLP contracts on affected chains (BNB & ARB) have calls that interact with functions in the core market smart contracts, which were recently compromised. Fixes are being developed for these contracts, but they require a thorough external review before going live again. This pause is in place to protect users’ positions during this period.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as Radiant works through these updates.
